Episode 11

I rushed with him to where my brother was, and we rushed him to the hospital immediately, it was an emergency case, so it's expected that they'll treat it with urgency, but the doctors and nurses said that they would not attend to him until we deposit #50,000, and at this point, my m mom was broke, and my dad's business was not doing well, I don't even know what we'll do now, but we must do something.

We had to run around, but we couldn't raise anything, it was as if all odds were against us, everyone we asked for money had already planned what to do with their money or they'll say that they don't have.

And my brother's condition was getting worse, my mom and I went to our uncle's house to beg him for money for my brother's treatment, my uncle was so rich, so I didn't feel that he wouldn't turn us down, but he sent us out of his house, like we were some sort of garbage.

I was in the hospital for days, it was so painful that my brother was in that condition and I  couldn't do anything to help him.

The accident affected his legs badly, there was this big wound on his leg, it was like sore, and water was just coming out of his leg, my brother was just weak and crying.

3 days later

Neighbours, families and friends were gathered in our compound, dressed in black, it was the day of my brothers burial, we all cried and cried, if only tears could bring him back.

My brother was a small boy, and since traditionally, it wasn't a must to bury him in the village, we buried him in a grave yard.
