Tottenham Hotspur saw off a 10-man Manchester United at Old Trafford in what is said to be a demolishment.

The game started brightly as the visitors took the lead two minutes into the game after Brennan Johnson tapped in Micky Van De Ven's cross.

Thereafter, Spurs were ruthless as they remained the dominant side in the first half of the match, although they failed to convert clear-cut chances to increase their lead.

Some minutes to the first half close, things went sour for The Red Devils as their Captain, Bruno Fernandes received his marching orders following a reckless tackle on English man James Maddison.

Just as the away side started brightly in the first half, they found the back of the net once more on the 47th minute through Swedish man, Dejan Kulusevski who left the United shotstopper with no chance.

Although the home team were a player down, they still managed some shots, but these efforts were not able to beat the Spurs' goalkeeper, Guglielmo Vicario as he remained heroic in goal.

Ange Postecoglou's were running riot as they added a third through Dominic Solanke's effort which sealed the victory for Spurs.

Tottenham Hotspur's victory now sees them sit 8th on the table with 10 points, as they face Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex stadium next week.
