Firstly what is decolonisation ? It is a process by which a Nation or people free themselves from foreign rule popularly known as (colonial rule) and regain political,economic ,and cultural freedom also know as independence.

           Africa’s decolonisation refers to the processby which African countries ended European  🇪🇺 colonial era and gained political freedom(independence) in the 1950s and 1970s.

countries that lead Africa during the colonial era were Britain, France,Portugal,Belgiumand Spain.These Countries exploited we African of our natural resources  thereby turning us to slaves in our land.

            HOW WE AFRICANS BECAME FREE FROM.                                          DECOLONISATION.

          1. We wanted selfgovern just like the Europea.                   nations.  

           2.Pan-africanism:The educated elites had one                voice.e.g(Obafemi Awolowo Kwame.                                Nkrumah and so many others.)      

                 countries that later  independence Nigeria 1960,Ghana1957,Algeria1962,Kenya1963,Angola1975,Southafrica.1994 etc.

                     Africa’s decolonisation reflects the time Africa 🌍  rose to claim its freedom and identity,it also marks the moment African nations gained their freedom and began shape their own future.
