when reality doesn't meet expectation 🤦🏾‍♂️ 

I had so much anticipated, fervently waited, rescheduled dinner, 

cancelled bedroom appointments, all in hopes to witness the highly talked about lunar eclipse, the longest full blood moon 🌝 since 2022 I didn't want to be told

Early as 6:30 PM I was already outside  waiting till 8 pm, the sky was getting cloudy the night was getting cold and still no sign of a bloody moon, yet I keep seeing people posting pictures of the red blood moon from their locations, could there be more than one moon, I pondered.

Maybe a little altitude is what I need, well so I thought.

I trudged

my way up the hill behind my house only for rain to start pouring the moment I reached the hilltop.

I ran back down Immediately almost tripping over twice along the way.

Got home drenched in rain, an absolute disappointment of a night, got wet, almost fell from the top of a hill, didn't see the red blood moon, infact I didn't see the normal moon.

Have i learnt my lesson?

 No, the eclipse is expected to appear again today and I'll be outside once again hoping to see it.
