I was at home that particular morning, actually, I was preparing for work, and since that day happened to be sanitation day, although I had finished preparing for work, I was only waiting for it to clock 10am, so that I can take my leave.

The next thing I heard was rantings from outside, our caretaker and Ifeanyi (Ifeanyi is the only bachelor in our compound), so the both of them were exchanging words.

Your parents did not train you well Ifeanyi, if they did, you wouldn't be in your room, playing games with your friends, when other men (including fathers), in the compound were working.

Mummy Lizzy, you don't have any right to tell me that my parents did not train me well, I don't know if it's because of the fact that I'm simple with everyone in this compound, that these insults are coming from you. You don't look down on anyone in this compound except me. (In my mind, I was like...is this guy playing)?

They ranted and ranted, to the extent that they almost fought, neighbors had to be holding them. God knows that I will not even answer them.

We're tired of our caretaker, you guys should come and take her and go anywhere you want for free, because that woman doesn't wants to give us peace.

In this case, I felt that she was right, It's just that her approach was wrong. The guy did the wrong thing, but she should have corrected him with love, as a mother that she is, instead of insulting him, and saying negative things about him.

I personally am tired of that woman, she's trying to train me for the future husband that both of us don't even know, but I'll be fine, everyone in the compound will be fine, afterall she's our big mummy.
