In football, there's something called team bonding. This helps to develop trust in the team.
Players also spend time with each other training because they share the same goal. Winning every week is the plan.
There's a saying you are like the five people you spend most of your time with.
If those people are lazy or foolish they're six not five because you are part of the number.
Same thing if those people are intelligent goal oriented high achievers.
Someone asked what's your strategy of selecting friends or just anyone cuts it.
I categorize my friends into three circles
General circle. This is everyone from course mates and people in church just the whole lot.
Inner circle: They get to know certain things that the generals circle doesn't know, they are people I joke with and do certain things with but still not the main gees.
For me plenty of people stay in the first two circles even old friends might be there for all I care.
Then There's the innermost circle.
These are people I go to for advice and I'm actively trying to learn from them. Mostly people who are way ahead of me and have been loyal for a while .
It's important you categorize and prioritize certain friendships over some, cause some are destiny defining while others are for the by and by the fun of it.
My innermost circle are those I spend most of my time with and for me that's well a lot less. God helping certain people have to go. They may not be bad but not for me.
