The Child Who Was Never Forgotten - 3 days ago

Afamefuna: an Igbo themed drama that emphasizes the cliche system of serving ie the " Nwa boi" system, where not only the main character (afamefuna) comes to serve one master but together with other guys where the bitter taste of betrayal, loyalty and ambition are all experienced in this drama

Overview.. the story revolves mostly around a young boy afamefuna sent to serve a wealthy business man as an nwa boi. As he grows further, finds out about the shady businesses that surrounds him and strives for survival in an environment filled with endless competition. Different obstacles such as jealousy and betrayal stands in the way of afamefuna plus different plot twists that threatens his principles

Strengths of the film....aims to educate the viewers on how the NWA BOI system works 2). Deals with realistic events that can be related to the real life 3). Shows the viewers life struggles people pass through especially the male gender

Let down of the movie......1)has some scenes to be overly predictable.....2) some overly fast forwarded parts of which their paces should have been reduced

Conclusion....in summary, the drama afamefuna is a culturally enriched and motivational drama that synchronizes discipline and resilience and also a drama that dares us to dream for something bigger
