We Did Not Arrive On Campus As Scholars, We Arrived As Students Filled With Hope,Joy, Happiness,Excitement, Nervousness Not Knowing What Life Had Planned For Us. The First Week Were Filled With Meeting Lecturers,New Friends And Big Dreams, Then Came Orientation Program For Matriculation. Graduation Felt Like An Easy Task Then,Like A Goal That Only Required Time, None Of Us Imagined How Heavy The Journey Ahead Would Be. School Introduced Us To Struggles No Lecture Note Prepared Us About, School Wasn't Has Easy As Claimed To Be, The Struggles. Some Of Us Battled Unpaid School Fees And Hard Financial Pressure, Some Combined Lectures With Side Hustles Just To Survive. Reading Into Late Night For Test And Exams Became Normal With Tired Eyes, Sometimes Without Light, Always with Determination. Hostel Stress, Cause We Weren't Given Accomodations, We Had To Transport From Our Houses To School Which Results In Lateness For lectures. Sometimes There Are Deadline To Be Met On Assignment And Projects. Academy Pressure Slowly Shaped Us. Then Came The Hard Semesters, Results That Broke Our Hearts, Results That Couldn't Meet The Expectation Of Our Loved Ones, Carry-Overs That Was Never Planned For, Extra Years We Never Thought Of,Strikes That Stretched Calendar And Tested Our Patience. Friends Moved Ahead While Some Of Us Stayed Behind Wondering If Our Own Turn Would Ever Come. There Were Moments We Almost Quit,Moments When Convocation Felt Like A Distant Dream Meant For Other People And Not Us. We Smiled When People Ask Questions, Even When Our Hearts Felt Heavy And Nervousness Kicked In. Some Of Us Lost Our Loved Ones, Some Lost Scholarships,Some Of Us Fought Silent Battles With Fear, Anxiety And Self Doubt, But We Stayed Not Because It Was Easy, But Because It Would Had Hurt More To Give Up. We Leaned On Friendship, Faith, Inner Strength And Family Support We Didn't Know We Had. We Learned Resilience And Patience, We Learned That Success Is Not Always Fast But Intentional. Slowly Things Started Changing, Final Exams Came And Went, Projects Were Defended, Clearance Were Signed. The Thing Word “You Are Graduating” Finally Became True. Convocation Was No Longer A Story, But Became A Date,And Today We Stand Here Wearing Gowns That Represents Sleepless Nights, Smiling Through Memories Of Hardship And Perseverance Listening As Our Names Are Called, Each Carrying Years Of Sacrifice, Lost Hopes,Delay, Courage And Growth. Convocation Is More Than A Ceremony, It's A Proof That The Journey Was Worth It, That We Didn't Just Attend School,But Fought Through It,Learned From It, And We Grew On It And WE MADE IT.
