I still remember when I met you,
With your beautiful eyes, a smile that could melt any heart.
I was star-struck; I knew for sure Cupid had hit me with an arrow.
I was filled with joy; it was the best I felt in forever.

We spoke for hours; it was as if time stopped
Whenever we were together.
The way you smiled and giggled always left me with so much joy in my heart,
So much love for you was all I ever felt.

Where did that love go? Staring at the mirror,
All I wish was to see you right before me.
To ask you why? To ask you how?
What went wrong? Was I never enough?

Was I too good for you?
I felt like I met an angel with you.
All I know now is I met a fallen angel.
You were too bad; heaven had to let you go.
I was too good for you; I made you miss your glory days.

Yeah, that's it. I was too good; I reminded you of heaven.
I know you took a part of my heart.
I was left bleeding; you never looked back; thought I would die.
Well, I'm a soldier; used the same arrow Cupid hit me with
To stop the bleeding, used the wood from the arrow to stitch myself.
You know how that feels, don't you?
Felt like wings been plucked out of me.
I'm sure you remember; that's why you can never fly back to heaven.

I do hope you never find anything good,
'Cause all you ever do is travel with a cloud of darkness.
Lots of pain seems like your memo.
So even while I'm writing these lines, I still feel the pain
From the arrows you left behind.

To an UNKNOWN LOVER.
