Peace and connections…
Even the idea of family is a form of relationship, and like every relationship, it can sometimes come to an end. That truth can be uncomfortable, but it reminds us of something important: peace should always have a place in our corner.
Peace is what you want beside you when you reach the edge. It’s the connection worth choosing over every other connection. Because when relationships—whether with partners, friends, or family become a recycling trap for our emotional health, peace is the companion we should run toward.
There is always peace in choosing peace. And trust me, it comes with no interest to pay later.
There is nothing noble about allowing someone hurt you with their words or actions, no matter the role they play in your life.
I have always run toward peace—peace of mind, peace in my journey, stillness for clarity. It’s part of my quiet moments in prayer, especially when words fail me.
His peace He leaves with us.
His peace He gives to us—
not as the world gives.
