📖BIBLE TEXT: ISAIAH 40:1-12
🔎📖 Isaiah 40:12 “ Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance?

After assuring them of His care as Adonai their Shepherd, God chose to describe Himself vividly to stamp an indelible picture in their minds. He asked if they knew anyone who had measured the whole waters, spanned the whole skies, gathered the dusts and weighed the mountains of the earth. These are the main features of our physical world. National Geographic and other discovery channels have endless episodes that expose the great expanse of land and water on earth and the implied impossibility of gathering them together or measuring them. So, God says, I weighed them! If He did, then we and all our burdens are nothing to our Adonai because He is unrivaled!

👉🏽 ANY RIVAL? 
Exodus 15:11 “Who among the gods is like you, Lord?”

Each of the ten plagues that shook Egypt actually challenged the powers of their gods. The ten plagues went  unanswered by the gods of Egypt! 
Let us reflect on this passage. 
How much water do we have on earth? It is said that there is 1233.91 Quintillion liters of water. That is roughly 326,000,000,000,000,000,000 gallons ( about 326 million trillion gallons) on our earth. The size is mind boggling. God wants us to have that picture in our minds, that He who holds the waters, gathered the dust and weighs the mountains is holding us. Does He have any rival? Can any other god step up to the occasion? There is none like Him among the gods. So we can trust HIM! Hallelujah!

👉🏽 NO RIVAL!
Exodus 15:11 “You are glorious in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders?”

There has been none and there never will be anyone who dares to lay claim to such impossibility. God is unrivaled in His majestic acts. And as He promises to care for us, He wants us to observe and remember His awesome powers over His creation. Whenever we look at our challenges we lose sight of these awesome and liberating truths. He wants us to see Him in our hearts and to step out on the ledge by faith, fully trusting Him daily as we face our situations, knowing He is bigger than them all. When we do, we shall be liberated to soar like the eagles above them all! Hallelujah!

Almighty God! You are unequaled, unrivaled and without competition. I worship You and I declare that the Keeper of the world is my Keeper. So, I shall overcome all situations in Jesus name. Amen
