Continuation of Episode 16
Amanda: I'm honored to be in your midst, as you all know, I am Amanda, the daughter of the soil, I am just a normal person like each one of you seated here, the only difference was that I stood up for what was right, I fought for the love of my life, I can't allow some archaic traditions to stop me from being with who I want to be with, or decide for me who to spend the rest of my life with, no, I had to fight for love, and today, I'm proud to be the first woman in Umuoma village who broke that tradition of getting married to who I'm bethrothed to, because of some consequences that I'm scared of.
(And the young women all cheered.)
THE END
Moral of the story: every woman should be allowed to make their choices of whom to marry, parents should not decide for their daughters whom to marry, because even God respects love, God respects feminism and he values women so much, he shows that with the kind of treatment he gives to women in the Bible, even down to prostitutes.
