So let's dive in, treat yourself as the brand. As a writer, you are a brand trying to make your voice heard amongst a host of others. 

When we talk about brands, your mind will go to certain conglomerates i.e Nike, Coca-cola it depends. 

Every brand has its core value, a message it aims to pass and a problem it tries to solve. 

It's important you have a brand as a writer cause that's how you get recognized. 

As a writer, three things you need to be the brand. 

• Name: It's important you have a name. It can be as simple as government name or something special to you. The point is when I hear the name it's you that comes to mind. E.g Pepsi reminds you of soda.

• Image: It could be a logo, your picture that's clear. It's something that will make you recognizable. When I started writing online first, I was thought this by @Nicholascole. So my account on X and medium had to carry same picture and same thing when you see his page on any publishing platform.

• Voice: Finding your voice, this takes time and you have to be open to failing at it. It's the hardest part of been a writer. When you writing starts moving not just you but the reader, you have found your voice. 

Your voice has three things to be considered. Personality, Passion and People.
