I went for this 3 days youth convention in CBM, i.e Catholic Biblical Movement, I'm actually a CBM member, and by my counting, today is the third day.

We started on Thursday, so, we'll be rounding up tomorrow morning, being Sunday, with morning mass, and everyone will dispatch to their father's houses, and their husbands houses (that's for our mothers).

Yesterday's messages were wow! There were many messages, but this one really got me, the topic was: UNDERSTANDING CHRISTIAN COURTSHIP AND MAINTAINING A GODLY AND HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP. We were taught that there are many kinds of COURTSHIP, there is worldly courtship, and Christian courtship.

In summary, we were taught not to practice courtship in a worldly way, we are not supposed to cook, wash clothes, and even have sex with a man, just because he promised to marry us.

We were told of the stories of many ladies, who lost their lives, as a result of courting in the wrong way.

The story of Jacob (Gen. 29:15 -20), is a perfect example of courtship in the right way, he worked for Laban for 14 years, and he never even kissed Rachel for one day.
