DETECTIVE
We are the detectives in charge of your childrens case, MR and MRS JOHN? 
 

MRS JOHN stops what she was doing.

MRS JOHN
Yes we are.

MR JOHN
(on the phone)
I'll call you back.

He ends the call and walks to the officers and shakes them.

MR JOHN (CONT'D)
It is nice to meet you, though I would have preferred it on better situations.

The detective chuckles. 

DETECTIVE
So briefly, we were made to know that your son was kidnapped, replaced, tortured and was found about a week ago right?

LUKE's parents nod. 

DETECTIVE (CONT'D)
Your daughter was now exchanged for her brother and is now the one in their hands right?

They nod again.

MRS JOHN
Yes sir. And we have no idea of where she might be whatsoever or why she was taken?

The detective nods.

DETECTIVE
Do you know the reason your son was kidnapped?

MR JOHN 
No sir. He has been unconscious since we got him back and so we could not ask him.

The detective nods and puts a book he was using to write back into his pocket.

DETECTIVE
Please call us when he wakes up so we will be able to get more information.

He hands them a card to which MRS JOHN collects.

MR JOHN 
Thank you sir, we will do just that.

DETECTIVE 
(nods)
We will be taking our leave now.

MR JOHN
Let me walk you out.

He ushered the two men as they walked out with him behind them. JASMINE walks to her mother as she sits down.

JASMINE
Mom?

MRS JOHN
Mmmh?

JASMINE
Those men are suspicious.

MRS JOHN looks at her daughter and smiles. She had really smart kids.

MRS JOHN
I know dear. I know.
