“Love in Every Word”.

I fell to peer pressure and sat down to watch the joke of a movie.

It's like those who saw the movie just wanted others to waste their data as they did too, hence the unnecessary hype for a basic, just feel-good movie.

The acting 7/10. They delivered well.

However, these are my few critique points:

- As usual, paying attention to details in typical Nollywood movies will always be between 2 and 3/10.

- Why are they using pieces of paper or tissue to cover the canned drink in such an obvious way? Why not get a graphic artist to design an abstract drink name and paste it on the Cans to make it look good?

- How is it that at the time of their first meeting and introduction, at least from their background checks, they were able to tell each other about themselves?
Odogwu even visited the lady’s workplace with his entourage just to collect her number.

Yet on a later date, he was asking to know her place of work.

- How did she not turn him down because of his accent from the first time they met, but suddenly got turned off by the same accent when he started showering her with love and gifts? Who does that?

I mean when you meet someone for the first time, a few things including accent could determine if you would want to meet them again or not.
So how do you go back to Lagos from your trip to the Anambra, share the good memories of your trip and meeting with “Odogwu,” to your friends, never showing any reservations about his accent, yet, that accent is the major reason you wouldn't want to continue seeing him.

This is where they lost me because I didn't concentrate much until the movie ended. I lost interest and only allowed it to play to the end because I had other people watching.

- Then, what was that childish way of Chioma standing up to a bullying boss?
Instead of standing up to her from a place of someone who knows her workplace right, Chioma was talking about using her boyfriend’s influence to get her out of the job. So what if she never met Odogwu?

You want people to see a movie that aside from entertainment, also teaches.

- And why were they mentioning Dollars anyhow in a Nollywood movie?

Anyway, it is what it is. A feel-good movie but it is not worth the hype.
