Big Brother Naija star and former Miss Nigeria, Beauty Tukura, has publicly condemned popular wedding photographer David Martins after his wife, Alicia Daniella, accused him of sustained domestic violence throughout their marriage.

Alicia, who has worked closely with Martins both personally and professionally, released a detailed statement alleging that she endured three years of physical, verbal, and psychological abuse. She described a pattern of intimidation and assault that she claims escalated over time, despite her efforts to protect his public image and business reputation.

In her account, Alicia highlighted a particularly disturbing incident she says occurred on May 7, 2026. According to her, Martins allegedly attacked her while she was holding their three-month-old son, striking her in the face, busting her lip, and nearly knocking out a tooth. She stated that this episode was a turning point that pushed her to leave the marriage.

Alicia explained that she had remained silent for years out of fear and a desire not to damage Martins’ brand, but eventually decided to speak out for her safety and that of her child. She revealed that she has moved out with the support of friends and family and has reported the matter to the Lagos Police Gender Unit. She also said she has reached out to the US and Canadian embassies and claims to possess photo and video evidence backing her allegations.

The allegations quickly gained traction online, drawing reactions from celebrities and social media users. Among the most vocal was Beauty Tukura, who took to Instagram to express outrage. Sharing a screenshot of Alicia’s appeal for support, Beauty urged the public to report and boycott Martins’ business page, calling him a “very foolish goat” for allegedly abusing his wife.

Beauty encouraged her followers to unfollow Martins’ professional accounts and withdraw patronage, framing the move as a stand against domestic violence. She also commended Alicia for breaking her silence, describing her decision to speak out as an act of courage that could help other victims find their voice.
