This past week, a trend sparked concern across X (formerly Twitter), where people used AI tools especially Grok to alter images, some in unethical, disrespectful and sexualized you ways. What started as “cruise” quickly turned into a conversation about consent, digital safety, and responsibility in the age of AI.

This incident raises an important question: How dependent have we become on AI, and at what cost?

As AI becomes more accessible, we must remember that privacy, identity, and truth are now more vulnerable than ever. A single manipulated image can damage reputations, distort reality, and even spark public unrest.

If we don't tread carefully, this dependency could escalate into national security threats, loss of trust in digital content, and ultimately a danger to humanity itself.

AI is a powerful tool, but without ethics and regulation, it becomes a weapon.
