Please Don’t Let Me Die: Veteran Actress Ngozi Nwosu Appeals For N30m Lifesaving Treatment - 19 hours ago

Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has made an emotional public appeal for financial assistance as she battles a severe, undisclosed ailment that has kept her in the hospital for weeks.

In a video recorded from her hospital bed, the beloved screen star, visibly frail and in distress, begged Nigerians not to abandon her in her hour of need. Fighting back tears, she revealed that doctors have recommended three urgent surgeries, estimating the total cost of treatment at N30 million.

Please don’t let me die, she pleaded, explaining that the pain has become unbearable and that her condition has gone beyond what she can manage on her own. She said she had tried to cope quietly but could no longer keep silent as her health deteriorated.

Nwosu’s cry for help has stirred deep concern among fans and colleagues, many of whom remember her earlier health battle. In 2012, the actress faced a serious kidney-related illness that forced her away from movie sets and raised fears for her life. At that time, a combination of government support, charitable organizations, and public donations enabled her to travel to the United Kingdom for treatment, after which she made a remarkable recovery and returned to the screen.

Now, more than a decade later, she finds herself in another life-threatening struggle. In her message, she appealed directly to her supporters, saying that making the video was extremely difficult but that she had no other option if she hoped to survive.

My fans, friends, family and colleagues, this was really hard for me to do, but I can’t keep quiet anymore. I need urgent life-saving surgeries, she said, urging people not to scroll past her plea.

She called on well-meaning Nigerians to share her message widely and to support her with whatever they can, adding a prayer that no one else would have to endure the kind of suffering she is currently facing.

Nwosu directed those seeking further information to contact her legal representative and management, emphasizing that time is of the essence as doctors prepare for the critical procedures she needs to stay alive.
