5. Puff puff: Right from childhood days, puff puff has been a favorite snack. Hot fried puff puff. It hits differently. Small chops is never complete without our puff puff. It is made from a mixture of flour, sugar, yeast, butter and salt, rolled into a dough and deep fried in hot oil till golden brown. Some puff puff can have a little bit of pepper stuffed in it.
6. Boli: Whether Boli or Bole - it simply means roasted plantain. It could be ripe or unripe. Also commonly sold at the roadside, usually roasted over hot charcoal. It can be eaten with roasted groundnuts or palm oil sauce.
7. Roasted corn: This particular onehas a season for it. But whenever it is the season, you are sure to see someone at the roadside selling roasted corn. It has so roasted over hot charcoal. It can be eaten with small pears commonly called 'ube' by the Igbos or sweet coconut. If the roasted corn isn't your style, you can opt for the boiled one.
