A wave of posts trending on X suggests that Grok, the AI assistant developed by xAI, is gaining ground as a preferred alternative to Google. Users are praising Grok’s real-time insights drawn from X, its conversational style, and straightforward answers, especially for trending topics. While Google remains dominant for in-depth research, X enthusiasts argue Grok’s integration with the platform and its fresh approach—powered by Brave searches—are reshaping how people seek information online. The debate has sparked buzz, with some calling it a "search revolution" and others noting it’s too early to crown a new king.

@WallStreetApes declared, “Grok will replace Google. It’s already replaced Google for 90% of my searches,” highlighting a growing preference for its speed and directness. Similarly,

@Calidecks shared, “We no longer use Google. We use Grok for all info. Google will only tell you what they think you should know. Grok shows no bias,” emphasizing a perceived lack of agenda. Another user,

@WLaakkonen chimed in, “Grok has absolutely replaced Google for me—Google is strictly transactional now, no longer informational,” pointing to a shift away from Google’s ad-heavy results. The sentiment on X reflects a mix of enthusiasm and bold claims, though some still question Grok’s reliability compared to Google’s established ecosystem.
