Two sets of people who fail in life. The person who listens to everyone

 and those that listen to nobody.

The first extreme:

Someone who listens to everyone moves like chaff blown by the wind. 

They don't have a bearing or trajectory for their lives. So the move with the changing views of men. As humans we have a certain mould we fit people into. And those who try to break the mould are placed under new labels. 

To understand how wavering our words can be as men, same people who called you a hero yesterday are those that tag you a villain today. 

Are these the people you find the bearing for life from. If that's your foundation for life then you won't reach your potential. 

We need to know what God has said concerning our lives.And make whatever men say to be secondary.

As the word of God says

Jeremiah 29:11 NIV [11] For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Anything outside what God says can't stand the test of time. So as men speak based on what they see, move in the direction of Gods word concerning your life.
