For as long as I can remember there has always been this nagging feeling among youth about to go into the big world or even those already in it. And now, it has extended to teenagers too. The feeling that they are behind. And I saw someone that asked behind who? And that made me laugh because it was so true, majority of us feel behind so behind who, who is ahead? I bet he feels behind too and this feeling has made us always think of life in a hurry, made life a race that it’s not, At least not in the sense that we think. There are no deadlines in life and yes I’ll say that again there is no deadlines in life you can achieve anything at any time. You don’t have to have it all figured out before graduation. Graduation is just a day! Life still goes on after that as usual you won’t be in school anymore and that’s not a disadvantage, it’s great! Maybe that’s what you need. You should have started a long time ago that might be true but do you know another best time to start? Now! Today! It’s alright yes it is!

This is a message to those of us who feel behind stop running stop chasing things you hate just so you can feel temporary gratification stop and take a breath, take the night off and attend our sleepover where we will talk about how great you are, how you are right where you are meant to be how you are doing great! Yes you are doing great! You know why? Because you are here and you haven’t given up. Come for our sleepover where we will talk about what you really want to do where we will tell you it isn’t about the money or the fame but about the joy and peace. Where we will tell you that you don’t need to change yourself because there are things meant for you that only you can do. Lets look away just once and for today stop running don’t  burn all your energy chasing shadows. Let’s eat, sleep and be happy because we are here now and one day we won’t and most things won’t matter anymore all that will be left are our memories so let’s not look at the sun but at one another, let’s look away from the light and stay in the shadows. Because this night we aren’t behind we are on a journey to finding us.
