It is said that God’s plan is not man’s plan but a man has the ability to plan and to manage what life throws at him . The problem is not the situation due to circumstances but the effort to make it better to the best of your ability.

I have withness what many of us have witnessed and chooses to over look and some of us choose to justify it because poverty has a way of crippling us but even the crippled is not without an ability to, their is ability in every disability , my name is Mrs Salma I am a teacher in Elini primary school  I teach English and social studies in the primary section , I love my students and I pay close attention to their attitudes and behaviors I like to train them like I would train my own children , one time I came across a child who was discussing sex with his friends I was shocked to see a very young boy not even on to teenage hood know so much about sex , I was upset but I wanted to know how he knew so much about sex  so I called both of them to my office and I scared them and demanded they tell me how they know so much about sex , one of the boys mentioned another student’s name called segune, yes she gin is the class story teller they said he tells them how his parents sleep with each other and how they touch each other at night  I was so amazed how can a little boy know about his parents night affairs how careless could they be and how did he know so much , so I called segue and sent the other students away warning them not to ever discuss such things especially in school or wherever if they really want to make their parents proud , I know that I scared them off and I hope they really stop but sef fun who knew so much about sex I don’t know where to start from , I tried to take things easy and soft by not shouting or expressing anger luckily segue easily opened up to me being the talkative he was , what he told me shook me and I realized it wasn’t entirely his fault that is so corrupt at such young age , according to him he is the fifth child of his parents and they stay Ina one room apartment making him sleep in the same room with his parents being the youngest child while his siblings sleep at the neighborhood apartment, segun happens to be a curious and sensitive child with an open mind to learn whatever comes to his table , he said he knew the exact time his parents wakes up at night and he will pretend to sleep untill they finally become intimate , I realized it wasn’t something he had withness ones or twice but severally .
After much investigation and persuasion I also discovered segue out of curiosity has tried sexual activity with his friends, it’s so unfortunate that the little boy is damaged beyond repair,I called his parents the next day so that we can find a solution to the problem it baffles me so much that the parents seems to not understand the repercussions of their actions , they claim they had no choice and they were poor and can’t afford to rent two rooms for them and their kids , I wept for this child .
I asked them if they have ever listened to their children conversation to find out if they speak vulgar language, they said they are always busy trying to make money to provide and they never really supervised them, I asked if they had any arrangement when they need to get intimate while an intelligent child above the age of five lives with them and they said he was too young to understand anything so they never really cared, now we have a damaged child damaging other students and that’s how many others get polluted

We all know life is not fare  but little efforts can go a long way to make a balance , maybe if parents are little more careful the rate of destruction  could be less.
