Nigeria Hands Over Four Technical Aid Corps Volunteers To Sierra Leone - 2 months ago

In a gesture reinforcing Nigeria’s commitment to South South cooperation, the Federal Government has officially handed over four Technical Aid Corps (TAC) volunteers to the Republic of Sierra Leone. The group, comprising two professors, one PhD holder and one master’s degree holder  was ceremonially presented to Sierra Leonean authorities, marking the start of their two-year service mission.

During the handover, the Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps urged the volunteers to act as exemplary ambassadors, maintain high standards of professionalism, and strengthen educational and developmental ties between Nigeria and Sierra Leone.  This deployment aligns with President Tinubu’s revitalised foreign policy agenda aimed at leveraging Nigeria’s soft power and human capital in Africa.
