It has been reported that Chelsea have intensified their interest in Dewsbury-Hall after initial talks with Brighton fell through. According to The Athletic, Chelsea have now made an initial bid for the midfielder, signaling their intent under the management of former Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca.
In a potential swap deal discussed by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are considering offering two players, Datro Fofana and Cesare Casadei, to Leicester City. Both players are on the periphery of Chelsea's squad and are seen as surplus by the club's management.
Dewsbury-Hall had an outstanding season under Maresca at Leicester, contributing significantly with 12 goals and 15 assists in 49 appearances as Leicester clinched the Championship title and secured promotion to the Premier League.
Currently, Dewsbury-Hall has reportedly given Chelsea permission to negotiate with Leicester City for his transfer this summer, indicating a possible move ahead of the upcoming pre-season preparations.
