With difficulty comes ease is a Nigeria film by korede azeez centers in the life of a woman Zainab, important scenes were she lost her husband,as a Muslim she has to go through a mourning period which is called iddah, conflict with her mother in-law for not bearing a child, discovery of her pregnancy, meeting with rayyan who guides her and helping her become a new woman, rebuilding her life.some of the key elements I've noticed from the film are;

Costume Design

The costumes reflect culture and social background. Traditional clothing shows the Northern Nigerian setting and cultural identity of the characters,During sad moments, the characters often wear simple clothing, especially during the mourning period,this visually shows grief and cultural expectations.eg zainab's mother in-law took the dress from zainab's room suggesting that a widow in her iddah should focus on mourning her husband and not to look attractive.

Setting and Art direction 

Props, design, and environment help create a realistic cultural atmosphere.Art Direction, environment often feels restricted or quiet, especially during the mourning period,the audience can feel a sense of isolation.zainab's home especially the living room is in the northern Nigeria setting.

Use of Local Language and communication in the film.

The film uses simple dialogue and local expressions, which makes the characters feel realistic.In some scenes, characters say very little, but their facial expressions and body language communicate their feelings,this shows how emotions can be expressed without words.Some conversations reveal how society expects women to behave, especially regarding marriage, family, and motherhood.an example is when Zainab communicates to her mother in-law in English and she gives a deaf ear even though she understands,she expects Zainab to communicate to her in Hausa.
