Homemade KFC Chicken (part 1) - 1 year ago

I stood in my cozy kitchen, the aroma of spices and fresh ingredients filling the air. I love cooking, and today i am  determined to recreate my favorite KFC-s fried chicken. With a look of determination, i laid out all the ingredients on the counter.

2 eggs, 5 tablespoons of cornstarch, 5 chicken drumsticks and five thighs, 2 cups of wheat flour, 1 cup of evaporated milk, 1 tablespoon of mustard, 1 tablespoon of chicken seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic. Everything is set to go.

First, i washed and dried the chicken thoroughly. Seasoned the pieces with a sprinkle of salt and pepper before placing them in a pot. Added enough water to cover the chicken halfway and set it to cook on low heat for ten minutes.

While the chicken simmered, i prepared two large bowls. In the first, i mixed the flour, cornstarch, garlic, and seasoning, stirring until everything was well combined. In the second bowl, i whisked together the eggs, evaporated milk, mustard, salt, and pepper until the mixture was smooth and creamy.
