The Imam started with opening prayer which implies divine guidance from Our Rabb, Allah. Whoever Allah guides, no one can misguide him. And he whom Allah leads astray, no one can guide him upright. May he place us among the guided and not the lost believers. 

Death is something we must remember all the time. It's a door and everyone will pass through it. However, what determines whether we'll meet Him with his mercy or not. Let's perform good deeds all the time, because no one knows what will happen. The Imam also talked about who slanders people and back bites their fellow human being won't meet Allah's grace.
