AMANDA THE BEAUTIFUL VILLAGE GIRL

Episode 1

There was once a girl, who lived in Umu Oma village, her name was Amanda, Amanda was a very beautiful girl, and all the male folks in the village were attracted to her, Amanda was the third child of her parents.

Her parents first gave birth to Emeka, 
then Udoka, and finally, they were blessed with the beautiful Amanda, Amanda was the last born, and the only daughter of her parents.

Everyone loved Amanda, because she was not only beautiful, but she was a good girl.

Her father (Mr Chigozie), was a highly respected elder in their community, and his wife, (Mrs Adaora), was their C.W.O leader.

As strong devoted Catholics that they are, they brought their children up in the way of the Lord, as at that time, Emeka was 13 years old, Udoka was 11 , and Amanda was just 9 years old. Amanda was a very beautiful girl, her parents were not that rich, but they were living comfortably.

Mr Chidindu on the other hand, was a big chief, he had many palm oil plantations, and he had a handsome son, and four beautiful daughters.

Mr Chidindu, and Mr Chigozie were best friends, and because of their relationship, and the kind of eyes Mr Chidindu's son (Nnanna), had on Amanda, as her beauty was stunning, Mr Chidindu, and his son wanted Amanda for a wife.

As at that time, Nnanna was in his 20's, and the tradition as at that time in Umu Oma village, was that a girl as little as 9 years of age, can be bethrothed to a man 30 years older than her, till she comes of age.

Will the plan of Mr Chidindu and his son work out?

Will Nnanna end up marrying Amanda?

Who will Nkechi turn out to be, to Amanda?
