Apostle Arome Osayi Sparks Debate On Speaking In Tongues - 2 months ago

Nigerian Christian minister and founder of the Remnant Christian Network, Apostle Arome Osayi, has generated widespread discussion online following a statement attributed to him in which he encouraged young believers to engage in extended periods of praying in tongues.

The remark, which suggested that anyone under 21 who has not prayed in tongues continuously for six hours is unserious about life, drew mixed reactions from Christians. Supporters defended the statement as a call to deeper spiritual discipline, intense prayer, and total dedication to God.

Critics, however, argued that spirituality should not be measured by the length of time spent praying in tongues, emphasizing that faith is expressed differently across individuals and Christian denominations.

Apostle Arome Osayi is widely known for his teachings on prayer, holiness, spiritual growth, and revival, and regularly ministers at conferences and Christian gatherings across Nigeria.
