Court Postpones Alleged Fraud Case to September 1–2

The Econinic and Financial Crimes Commision charged an oil executive and two others to court over an alleged N691.7Million on June 3rd,2026, in Abuja

Musa Farouk Abubaka who is the oil executive and MD of the company 'Abu Haneefa Oil and Gas Ltd, Sandra Chizoba Attoh who is a business associate of the same company,and the company itself 'Abu Haneefa Oil and Gad Ltd was charged in court by EFCC

The defendants pleaded not guilty.

Counsel to the defendants informed the court that bail applications had been filed and requested favourable consideration pending trial.

The court granted bail to one defendants under specified conditions which was 'Sandra Chizoba Attoh will provide the sum of N200Million with conditions.
The Judge went further charging her to provide two sureties living in Abuja and the two surities must meet certain requirements including proof of property ownership,while another defendant was remanded pending further proceeding.

The matter was adjourned to september 1 and 2,2026,for commencement of trial
