Do you know that I have made it a habit to always like and comment on people's posts?
I just came across one of my Facebook friends post, about our bad economy in Nigeria and the way the poor masses are suffering, and even if he doesn't like engaging in my posts, I actually liked and commented on his post.
I also try to engage with almost all, if not all of my new connections on LinkedIn, because you will not know who will eventually turn out to be your destiny helper, not just that, but it's important to get value, and give out value.
Now, back to the business of the day, a friend advised me to read a lot of books, inspirational books, novels, and so on, so that I can know how to craft my stories, like...learning from the legends, so I decided to give myself a month break to do that, I like want to unlearn and re-learn.
Well, I'm happy for my growth on LinkedIn oh, by my counting, my connections are going up to 988, it'll soon be 1,000, and more people are connecting with me everyday, it's worth celebrating, I think I should pop champagne for that, thank you my 988 followers.
So, as I was saying, presently, I'm reading this Ghanaian novel: A WOMAN IN HER PRIME, and the woman was talking about a period in her village Brenhoma, when the rain fell so much, and the whole ground was muddy, the people of Brenhoma couldn't go to farm, and get to spend time with friends in their neighboring villages.
She said that they were just indoors, roasting corn, enjoying their lives and eating, she and Kwadwo, her husband, because they had stalked a lot of grains previously.
To be continued in my next post.
