LOGLINE
When a determined university student risks missing an important submission after losing the last bus home, an unexpected stranger reminds her that hope often arrives at the final moment.
SCENE 1 – EXT. BUS STOP – EVENING
(Light is fading. A young girl, AMARA, stands alone at a quiet bus stop. She checks her phone anxiously.)
AMARA (muttering):
Please don’t let me miss this bus…
(She looks worried. Her phone battery is 2%.)
A bus zooms past without stopping.
AMARA:
Oh no!
Cut to her frustrated face.
SCENE 2 – FLASHBACK – CLASSROOM – AFTERNOON
(Lecturer speaking.)
LECTURER:
Submission closes by 6pm. No excuse!
(Amara looks nervous.)
SCENE 3 – BACK TO BUS STOP
An old woman sits beside Amara.
OLD WOMAN:
You look troubled, my dear.
AMARA:
I have an important submission today. If I miss the last bus, I’m finished.
OLD WOMAN (smiling):
Sometimes help comes when we least expect it.
A small bus approaches slowly.
SCENE 4 – INT. BUS – NIGHT
Amara sits inside, relieved.
She looks outside the old woman is gone.
Confused expression.
SCENE 5 – INT. SCHOOL GATE – NIGHT
Amara runs toward the department office.
Clock shows 5:58pm.
She submits her work.
LECTURER (nods):
Just in time.
Amara smiles with relief.
FINAL SHOT
She looks outside… sees the same bus passing again.
Fade out.
Soft inspirational music.
