this is a continuation of the post ATBU SUG ELECTION 1 ....
KBJ on the other hand has no verified leadership track records. He hasn't held any leadership position. However, he enjoys the exclusive privilege of being a Bauchi indigene. The last time I checked, KBJ happens to be the only Bauchi indigene vying for a position in the SUG.
As a bonafide indigene, KBJ has a solid chance of securing indigenous votes. You might argue that indigenous votes are not sufficient. Still, indigenous votes matter. They are a subtle indicator of acceptance and potential ease to liaise with community leaders. And gracefully, KBJ has this leverage.
And now, here comes Mansur, the underdog who, like a Phoenix, has risen up to cement a spot in the top three candidates vying for the ATBU SUG Presidential position. Mansur recently championed the disbursement of free food tickets, free Charcoal, free bus tickets to students and promised to continue the initiative. These philanthropic gestures have gotten to the students, and the Balewites metaspace has been agog with Mansur’s fliers. Many students openly declared their unwavering loyalty to him for feeding them. Like play, like play, Mansur became a strong contender.
Who do you think could possibly be the next SUG President?
