Hey guys!
A pleasant morning to you✨
My friend studying Physiology posted this on her page a day ago and considering how much I ate yesterday night? And how I slept? What she said couldn't be further from the truth! 😩
I feel like a heap of clothes this morning.
…
Stop Waking Up with Body Aches! (Good Sleeping Posture = Good Health & A Productive Day)
Have you ever woken up feeling like you had pertaked in the RAW WOMEN'S/MEN CHAMPIONSHIP WWE MATCH all night?
Your neck is stiff, your head is aching, your back is aching, you're feeling like your dinner is still hooked somewhere at the comer of your stomach and you’re tired before the day even starts.
As a Physiology student, I’ve realized that HOW you sleep is just as important as HOW LONG you sleep.
❌ The Worst Posture: The Stomach Sleeper.
I know this one feels good and comfortable, but sleeping on your stomach forces your neck to remain at a sharp 90-degree angle for hours.
This strains your cervical spine and can lead to chronic neck pain.
✅ The Best Way: The 'Pillow-Prop' Side Sleep.
If you sleep on your side, your top leg will drop forward, twisting your lower back.
Place a small pillow between your knees! This keeps your hips, pelvis, and spine in a neutral alignment. Your body stays stacked and relaxed.
Alternatively, you can lay on your back.
This position is great for spine health, but if your lower back hurts, place a pillow under your knees to maintain the natural curve of your spine.
Your body is a machine that needs proper 'parking' at night to repair itself. Try the pillow-between-the-knees tip this night and tell me how you feel tomorrow! 🩺✨
