Based on the true story of Erin Bronkovich. A single mother/ legal assistant goes head to head with a powerful Californian energy corporation allegedly polluting a city’s water supply network. They told her the case was a losing battle but she had one thing they others didn’t. She cared. The result was the largest settlement in a direct-action lawsuit.

The real Erin Bronkovich said the film came about through accidental networking. She just shared her story with a friend who shared it with someone who knew someone in Hollywood.
