The Creator made man and gave him a mouthpiece particularly for talking, eating, or singing even. Yet, if makind does not take caution on what to say and when to say, there is a small part of the mouth (tongue) that can wreck a whole person.

"Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark" (James 3:5).

If you read right, you know that if you do not tame the tongue and discipline yourself to know that its not everything you think that needs to be let out (no matter how hillarious it may sound to you).

"Before a fall" as the saying goes "comes pride", but I am of the opinion that " before pride comes a boastful tongue"; do the math. It takes one who has thoroughly disciplined himself to not be boastful or prideful (man I have seen people with degrees and Phd's who do not want to be known). That doesn't make them less of human, does it?
