The day of recruitment arrived. Young able men from all over the kingdom of Vidibong filled the fighting arena. Among the competitors is Prince Karl, King Louis’ eldest son who has also obtained permission from his father and King Edward to participate in the competition which is termed. King Edward hesitantly gave permission, aware that refusing the young prince's request who be diplomatically inappropriate
The competition is now diplomatically rebranded ‘Welcome Entertainment’ by King Edward, commenced with a grand welcome of the presence of King Louis and his son. The young men eagerly and frantically showcase their fight skills, each pitted against another. Some relied on fist, some sword, others opted for spear, leveraging their unique skills, strength and talent.
As the competition progressed, the intensity and intrigue grew. Withney emerged as a formidable contender, defeating opponents with superior points. His unpredictable fighting techniques leave onlookers in awe, effortlessly dispatching his opponents.
Prince Karl also impressed, demonstrating exceptional strength and dexterity. His mastery of Ganbanon's fighting techniques captivated the audience. Both Whitney and Karl advance to the final stage, setting the stage for a thriller duel.
However, a surprising twist emerged, Prince Karl recognized the man who attacked him, during his business voyage, leaving his arm bleeding with injury. He couldn't expose him because Whitney spared his life in their last encounter.
Whitney, also recognizing Karl, initially hesitated out of fear. But when he realized that Prince Karl wouldn't reveal his identity, he regained composure as the final battle commenced.
The stage was set for an epic clash between two worthy adversaries…..To be continued.
