Protesters have blocked the Abuja-Keffi, Mararaba-Nyanya Expressway, overpowering security agents and disrupting traffic. The demonstrators, including motorcycle riders, stormed the Nyanya area, chanting "Ba muayi" in Hausa, meaning "We are no longer interested." Armed with sticks and branches, they blocked the entire Nyanya-Mararaba Expressway, trapping motorists and travelers at Nyanya Park.

Security agents, including police, Civil Defence, and soldiers, tried to stop the protesters from reaching the Karu Bridge section but were overwhelmed. The blockage left hundreds of passengers stranded in severe traffic up to the Kugbo area, with both commercial and private vehicles unable to move.

Reinforcements have been called in to control the crowd, and more soldiers are arriving to attempt to reopen the road and restore order.
