I went to my compound well to fetch water today, as I got there, two younger girls were there, one greeted me, and the other didn't, and they both fetched their water.

While they were at it, I was thinking, in my mind, I was like...if it were to be when I was still a small girl, like them, I would have collected the Aunty's bucket to fetch water for her, before my own. When I was much younger, if our  parents come back from work, as soon as we sight them from afar, we run up to them and welcome them with a hug, collect their bags, and walk them down home, but everything has changed now.

They just fetched their water and walked past me, and this is the generation that we are brooding, God will help us.
