Episode 9
After the last visit Nnanna had with his dad in Mr Chigozie's house, and knowing that he has been fully accepted into the family as an in-law, he usually send gifts to Amanda's family, on two occasions, he sent fruits, foodstuff, and bush meat to Amanda's family, this time around, he decided to come by himself.
Nnanna: knock knock here.
Mrs Adaora: yes, who is there?
Nnanna: it's me, Nnanna.
Mrs Adaora: I'm coming
(and she walks to the door, opens it, and let's him in) welcome, my in-law, have a seat.
Nnanna: thank you ma, I came to see my Asa, Asa means beautiful.
Mrs Adaora: oh! okay, let me go and call her (and she walks to Amanda's door, and gets in, Amanda was lying down on her bed) Amanda, you have a visitor.
Amanda: who is it, is it Ngozi (with a lit up face.)
Mrs Adaora: no, it's uncle Nnanna.
Amanda: ah ah mummy, are you sure you're not mistaken, is it me he wants to see or Emeka, because I'm not a boy, and I'm not big like Emeka, or Udoka.
Mrs Adaora: Amanda, must you be a big boy before uncle Nnanna will want to see you, can't uncle Nnanna admire a good girl that not just him, but everybody in the village sees as a well brought up child, and want to see you?
Amanda: okay mummy, I'll be with him shortly.
Mrs Adaora: better (she leaves Amanda's room, and Amanda went to be with uncle Nnanna in a jiffy.)
Amanda: good afternoon sir.
Nnanna: good afternoon Amanda, how are you doing today?
Amanda: I'm fine.
Nnanna: why is your face not looking bright, is anything the matter?
Amanda: nothing is the matter oh, I'm not just in a good mood.
