Amanda was in Nkechi's house, and a whole lot was going on in her mind, she was lost in thought, why will uncle Nnanna come to our house with a keg of palm wine?

Why will my mom call him her in-law, what was all those nonsense they were discussing about me getting married to uncle Nnanna, I just hope it's not what I'm thinking.

Nkechi: Amanda, look at the beautiful house I constructed. Amanda! Amanda!

Amanda: yes (and she jerked back from the land of her thought.)

Amanda: I was showing you the little house I constructed, but you were lost in thought, what is the problem, my friend?

Amanda: i'm so sorry, I was just thinking about something.

Nkechi: what is that that you were thinking about, that made you so lost, and your mind was far away?

Amanda: it's my father, not just him, my both parents.

Nkechi: what did they do to you?

Amanda: they are trying to marry me off to uncle Nnanna when I come of age, I overheard my dad, uncle Nnanna, and his dad discussing about it.

Nkechi: hmmm, this is serious, so what are you going to do about it?

Amanda: i don't know, but I can't get married to someone 30 years older than me, he should go and look for his age grade to marry, but for now, I'll just lay low and watch as events unfold, all these tradition and custom things self tire me.

Nkechi: hmm, it's well my friend.
