Episode 15

In this slum, I don't think these dramas are planning to end anytime soon. It's always one trouble everyday, and my caretaker must be involved, let's see how everything will turn out to be. ( I won't lie to you guys, I silently laughed to the fullest in that corner where I was sweeping, he even called her fat and round like ball).

As we all know, with our caretaker in our compound, it's one trouble everyday.

On this particular day, I was just inside my house, watching movies. It was a normal day, because that period, school was in session, so I wasn't really working that period.

I was just watching my movie peacefully when I heard rants outside. At first, I thought that it wasn't something serious, but then, the whole noise intensified, so I had to go outside to check what was happening, my mom and dad came out too. It was my caretaker and mummy Ebube again, it was their toilet fights as usual, but this time, the whole thing breeded a lot of insults and bad talks. What I heard was:

You and your children are always messing these toilets up, you guys in your entire family are very dirty people. When people come into our compound and see how your surroundings are, they'll think that everyone in the compound is dirty, they wouldn't know that the dirtiness is just from your family, our caretaker said.

What of you, that your daughter's suitor abandoned her, just the day before her wedding, after you've gone around sharing gifts, and telling everyone that your daughter is getting married to a very rich man. If I'm not mistaken, that man left because of your bad attitude, stupid woman! Mummy Ebube said.

At this point, that statement really touched our caretaker, because it's not her fault or anyone's fault that a thing like that happened to her daughter.

When Lizzy came back, her mom told her about happened, she was just inside the compound, washing her pot, and shouting, expressing her emotions with the bitterness in her heart. I felt her pain, but 'who knows why her sister's suitor left?' Only God and the man can tell.

And out of shame, her sisters had to park out to another city where people don't know her, because the whole thing was so embarrassing.

And Lizzy use to always wash pots and clean the house to attract a rich suitor, or for someone to recommend her for a rich husband, but her sister was able to attract one, but for whatever reason, that even I cannot tell, she lost him
