Good morning folks it's time for pondering.
A wise man called Marcus Tullius Cicero once said and I quote “Take from a man his reputation for probity, and the more shrewd and clever he is, the more hated and mistrusted he becomes.”
Now here's my take on his quote. Nowadays, people will prefer fake things and people even if its glaring right before their eyes. You go come think say na ivia.
In this like and beyond, I may be many things but fake us not one of them. We fake ourselves in order to gain influence and high esteem from people around us. If an individual want to love you for who you are, you don't need to fake anything about you.
Show your real self and see who's willing to accommodate you and your temperaments.
Furthermore, most people keep friends for the sake of what they could get from them not really what they are willing to give and sacrifice. So by the time you realized you've been used the whole time and decide to change course, they will begin to tell you "omo you've changed oo, this is not the you I know". Just dey play, your mind never dey.
Your integrity matters a lot on every ramification of life. To protect and keep your integrity intact, I think at some point a hermit life is safer. Coz the more people see you and use you, the less integral and valuable you become.
Its best you develop and build yourself than associate with those who only want to take from you.
