I was discussing some things with my roommate last night, and one of the questions he brought up was, “How can I be rich like #ahmedxm l?😅” I laughed and told him, “Can you do what those people did to make that kind of money—the sacrifice they made, the consis persistence, prayer, and a lot of failure?”

The word failure made me realize that if you don’t fail many times, then you will never succeed. Many successful individuals have hawked goods, slept under the bridge, run errands, drank garri like water 😂, and done many things that aren’t even mentioned. But can you do all those things? Can you sacrifice your time and effort to make things happen, even though you keep failing or falling?

Many people can’t do these things, yet they want to be filthy rich. It doesn’t work that way. You have to go through things to have a story to tell, and only then can you succeed.

Success isn’t a one-day or one-month thing; it takes years of hardship and hard work—unless you want to do oshole 😂 and die after just a few years of enjoyment.
