INT. TUNDE’S BEDROOM. EARLY MORNING 

A phone buzzed on the side table just before the 6:30 AM alarm rings. 

Tunde still feeling sleepy picks up the phone

On the screen “ we regret to inform you….” . Another rejection email. 

Tunde read it once, then again 

He places the phone face down back on the side table 

He exhales, his chest tightening 

 Tunde ( softly to himself ) 

Don’t be angry, not today. 

He sits for a moment, gets up, heads to the bathroom, freshen up, get ready and heads 

out.

Scene 2 

 FADE IN 

EXT. BUS STOP. MORNING 

Tunde left the house early for the bus stop.

At the bus stop he sees and old man struggling with his coin purse. 

The bag slips and all the coins scatter on the floor . 

People work past the man without helping. 

Without hesitation Tunde kneels and help him pick up the coins . 

 OLD MAN

Thank you, people don’t stop to help anymore 

 TUNDE ( shrugs) 

I know what it means to have people pass over you.

The old man studies tunde and hands h a small card 

 OLD MAN 

Come by later today. 

Tunde looks at the card 

A name 

An address . 

 FADE OUT 

Scene 3 

 FADE IN 

EXT. OFFICE BUILDING. AFTERNOON 

Tunde stands in front of the office building. He holds the small card in his hand and looks at 

it.

He looks up at the building, unsure.

He takes a deep breath and walks inside.

        FADE OUT 

SCENE 4 

 FADE IN 

INT. OFFICE . AFTERNOON

Tunde enters the office.

Meets a receptionist, shows her the card, she makes a phone call, then replies him 

 RECEPTIONIST 

 The manager would see you now

She then leads him to a quiet office

The old man sits behind a desk.

Tunde stops when he recognizes him, He was then offered a seat. They had a little 

conversation and the old man picked up an interesting in Tunde. 

 OLD MAN

You helped me when you didn’t have to.

Tunde remains quiet, slightly nervous.

 OLD MAN

We need people like that here.

Pause.

 OLD MAN

 You’re hired.

Tunde’s expression changes from surprise to relief, he’s eyes glittering after hearing the words. He was offered to be the personal assistant of the old man.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE OFFICE . EVENING

Tunde walks out of the building.

The sunlight falls on his face.

He smiles quietly.
