Subject: How is the Contest Calculated?
Dear blog shop organisers/Team
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to seek clarity regarding the recent outcomes of the story contest. While we are grateful for the opportunity to participate, there are several concerns that need to be addressed to ensure fairness and transparency for all contestants.
To begin with, there were over six participants tied at a score of 78%, yet only four were selected to proceed. Could you kindly explain the process used to determine which four advanced? What specific criteria were applied to break the tie, and was this in line with the contest guidelines?
In addition, it is unclear how the deadlines for each round are truly being implemented. The contest rules clearly mention specific dates for story submission and evaluation. For example, if the stated deadline is the 15th of every month, why are submissions still being accepted or results modified as late as the 20th? This raises concerns about consistency and fairness. If the rules are set, should they not be followed strictly to ensure equal opportunity for all participants?
Furthermore, two contestants with a score of 78% were seemingly replaced, while others with scores of 76% and 75% were left out altogether. This calls into question the judging process—was it solely based on score, or were there additional, undisclosed parameters that affected the outcome?
Also, why are certain key parameters not being met according to the contest rules? If deadlines and judging criteria are subject to change without notice, how can participants trust that their work is being evaluated fairly?
As a contestant, I want to believe in the integrity of this contest, but it becomes difficult when rulings do not align with the stated rules. How do I simply accept outcomes that appear inconsistent or unexplained?
I ask these questions not to criticize, but to understand. We all value the creative platform you provide, but transparency is essential. I respectfully request a detailed explanation of the judging process, how rules are being upheld, and how fairness is being ensured across the board.
Thank you for your time and understanding. I look forward to your response.
