“He is more qualified and more posh for the position. He and his mother will do anything and everything in their power to show the world how unqualified you are for the position you got when they finally find out that you are back. We don’t stand a chance if you go out there, acting like a common man. Y our grandfather will be disappointed in his grave as well.” Conner explained and Theo released a breath he didn’t know he was holding.

“What do you say, we let the bad guys win or you sit up and learn?” He asked Theo and Theo looked at me, I didn’t know why he did it or what he expected me to do but I smiled at him to encourage him. Everything was happening too fast and he was not coping well, but he was stronger and he had to take things easy, in good fate and with an open mind.

“I’ll think about it.” He answered Conner walking away

“You don’t have forever young man,” Conner called after him and he gave Conner a thumbs up, Conner shook his head sideways.

“This boy is a load of work,” Conner sighed and I chuckled “Don’t tell him I said that,” he warned and I smiled broadly

“My lips are sealed” I assured him and his gaze lingered on me for a while, “By the way, you eat well for a girl from the slum,” he noticed and I smiled.
