Organizers of the 'End Hunger' protest in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, have announced plans to converge at the Federal Secretariat along Aba Road this Morning to continue their demonstration.

The protests, which continued into Sunday, saw a lower turnout compared to the initial three days. Protesters partially blocked the Aba Road flyover with a bathtub, chanting and singing without the aid of a DJ or musical instruments.

Some protesters expressed their dissatisfaction with President Bola Tinubu’s recent speech, stating that it failed to address their concerns. They declared their intention to continue the protest for the full 10 days as originally planned.

Despite a significant presence of security operatives on Sunday, there were no confrontations between the police and protesters. Interactions between both parties remained cordial.
